Co-operative Education Program (COOP)

FNESC and the First Nations Schools Association, in partnership with Indigenous Services Canada, offer the Cooperative Education Program (COOP) for First Nations schools.

The Co-op Ed Program has the following objectives:

  • Promote the benefits of education as key to labour market participation.

  • Support the development and enhancement of employability skills among First Nations youth.

  • Introduce youth to a variety of career options.

Eligibility

First Nation schools in BC with grades 7 to 12 are eligible to apply.
