FNESC engages in advocacy for the benefit of all First Nations students attending BC public K-12 schools.
The work of FNESC includes supporting systemic changes to public education, including legislative, policy, and practices reforms, to improve the outcomes, experience, and attendance of First Nation learners in the BC public K-12 education system.

Nominal Roll and Joint Verification Process
The Nominal Roll is the registry of all eligible elementary and secondary students federally funded to attend a First Nation, public, or independent school. It serves as an annual student census which is used to calculate education funding for students ordinarily living on reserve.
