DRIPA Implementation Regional Meeting – Vancouver
First Nation Schools of Choice, Model LEA and Indigenous Education Councils
The First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) invites you to the upcoming Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA) Implementation Regional Meetings.
The focus of these meetings will be to provide First Nations with updates regarding new policy and legislation related to First Nation Schools of Choice, the Model Local Education Agreement (LEA), and implementation of Indigenous Education Councils. It will also provide an opportunity for First Nations to discuss how the School Act Amendments are being implemented and to review a draft of the new Local Education Agreement Handbook.
