Co-operative Education Program (COOP)

FNESC and the First Nations Schools Association, in partnership with Indigenous Services Canada, offer the Cooperative Education Program (COOP) for First Nations schools.

A few key activities of the the program are, but not limited to:

  • Job shadowing opportunities for participating students
  • Role model/guest speaker presentations to promote careers and education planning

  • Student training to promote job access

Eligibility

First Nation schools in BC with grades 7 to 12 are eligible to apply.
