Building Connections with Students – A Toolkit for First Nation Schools in BC

This resource highlights the research and promising practices meant to support educators to make meaningful connections with students. The Toolkit is intended to help First Nation school staff consider strategies for building student connectedness that might be appropriate for their own circumstances.

The ideas highlighted in this paper will have to be adapted according to each school and classroom context, and used in ways that reflect and respect the unique characteristics of individual school staff and students.
